Sketches and Finished Pieces
I love the basics of just pencil on paper. Usually, I just use a #2B, on my Canson hardback sketchbook, and I can flesh out an entire drawing that way. It's interesting to see how the character of the drawing changes once I begin painting it. Sometimes I like the outcome of the painting in which it looks different from the original sketch.
On the finished frog piece I kind of missed the warty-ness of the original sketch, but all in all I liked how the personality of our little frog here turned out.

New Facebook page
I'm learning as I go, and that can actually be fun at times. Well, it can also be a headache too, but whatever, I'm making progress. I just created a Facebook page today. You can find it here at this link (only if you already have a Facebook account): http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001764184565
You can also click on the Facebook photo badge at the bottom of my blog here. I just learned how to use that nifty little widget today. I consider this a small triumph, and I'm mighty proud of that!
